Founder
After winning $1.3 million in scholarships himself, Christopher Gray founded Scholly, an app that helps students easily find scholarships for college and graduates pay off their student debt. Scholly was featured on ABC’s Shark Tank, landing a deal with Daymond John and Lori Greiner and sparking the biggest fight in Shark Tank history. The app's success didn't stop there; Scholly was subsequently acquired by Sallie Mae, further cementing its place in the educational landscape. Boasting over 5 million users, Scholly has assisted students in raising over $100 million dollars.
Christopher has been in the spotlight for his innovations, receiving coverage in the New York Times, O Magazine, Huffington Post, Forbes, CNN, The Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Cosmopolitan Magazine, and more. His impact in the social entrepreneurship space was recognized in 2016 when he topped the Forbes 30 Under 30 List. Christopher also holds the distinction of being one of Oprah’s Inaugural Super Soul 100 honorees, a list curated by Oprah herself to highlight her favorite people. In addition to these accolades, he received the prestigious 2016 Smithsonian American Ingenuity Award
